Waiting is hard.

A month ago, I was trying not to stress over the thought of taking care of a toddler and a newborn at the same time.  Now I am so antsy to meet this little man I can hardly stand it.

It is funny to me how much we know in this "Information Age", yet the timing of a birth is still a complete mystery.  God's little way of reminding me that He is still in control.  And that I need to be patient and flexible.

It's not that I can't find anything to do.  There are still plenty of "nesting" chores that will keep me busy.  Learned that one the hard way with Joseph when I finished everything a month early and was bored out of my mind trying to stay busy so that I didn't go crazy waiting.'s to waiting.  And probably more blog posts to come until his arrival. :)

  1. I went through the same thing! And even though life gets crazy with a newborn and a toddler, I loved it even more than with just one. We'll continue to keep you all in our prayers and I'm so excited to see pictures of the little one and meet him! When you are home and settled in after his birth I'd love to cook you all a dinner :).
